Latest Learning Modules

As per our combined NNSW drum corp, please find our

latest learning modules for your kids to practice here as below.

Latest Update - September 15th 2026

As we prepare for the upcoming 2027 Australian Pathfinder Camporee, we now have a few updates as per the highlighted text below for the camporee schedule which our children need to practice over these next 4 months (see below after warm ups).

Hand and wrist warm ups (10 mins):

 - Warm Up #1 - Great exercise for snare wrist warm ups (5 mins)

 - Warm Up #2 - Continued exercise for warm ups (1 min)

 - Warm Up #3 - Covers each of the essential rudiments under 2 mins with single strokes, double, triplets, paradiddle and five stroke (Kindly put together by young Kevin from Greater Sydney).

CAMPOREE PROGRAM CADENCES (as relayed by Felix and Brian)

(** Focus on items 3, 4 and 5 for now which will also be practiced in our NNSW practice sessions):

1. Cadence #1 - Confirmed to be used in the marching component of the parade while all the clubs are marching inNote that considerations will be made to have the kids on a rotation on and off to give allowance for breaks. See training links below:

 - Bass drum section

2. Cadence #2 - To be played ONLY during our drum corps entrance at this stage.  Note that considerations will be made to have the kids on a rotation on and off to give allowance for breaks. See training link below:

3. ** D n K Cadence - To be performed on the march out of the subcamps.  Brian and Felix to confirm as they get more information towards the camporee.  See training link below:

4. ** Slow March Cadence - To be played for the colour guards as they present the flags (TBC) (camporee, national, Pathfinder, etc.).  See training links below:

5. ** Florida Cadence - Our drum corp to play this as the sub camps are marching out (may change based on the layout of the program, yet to be confirmed).  See training link below:

 - Multi-toms section

6. ONLY FOR SELECTED CLUB MEMBERS | Advanced section for Camporee special itemThis will be discussed in our NNSW club as to which of our kids will be chosen and are dedicated with discipline to partake partake in the special item 'Amazing God' to be done during the camporee church service):
